Wine on Deck was founded on the same day we moved into our industrial space in Allston, MA, on June 1st, 2010. Since then, many members of the Wine on Deck team have been frustrated by my (Isaac D. Van Wesep, the Founder) reluctance to do any serious marketing until we perfect our product line.
First, they waited for our Original Wine Wings design to settle down. Then, they waited while our craftspeople trained in the shop until I was satisfied we could make Wine Wings at a profit, and without too much waste. Just when we seemed ready to get to it, they had to wait again while I worked through a custom engraved product.
But all that waiting was well worth it! Today, our Wine Wings are coming out consistent in their dimensions and quality, and our two products (Original and Engraved) are both ready for the market.
Wine on Deck has begun some marketing programs in New England, New York, and California. I'm still working on new product innovations, but now customers can place orders for Original and engraved Wine Wings - from one to one thousand - and trust they'll receive a quality product, on time.
Finally, we're there!
